What is the story behind AmblyoPlay?
The genesis of AmblyoPlay is a collaborative effort. It was inspired by the conversation with doctors and parents who faced a common challenge: keeping young patients motivated and engaged during vision therapy homework. Existing solutions were falling short, quickly becoming boring and repetitive.
The inspiration for AmblyoPlay came from the need to create a solution that worked from a professional standpoint and captivated young patients’ hearts and minds. And so, the journey began.
AmblyoPlay isn’t just a therapy. As the name implies, vision therapy is gamified, turning a routine task into an exciting adventure. No longer, do patients have to “do” therapy; now, they can “play” therapy and have fun.
Because sometimes, all it takes is a bit of playfulness to turn a challenge into a win. And that’s the story of AmblyoPlay. A brand that emerged from a desire to make a difference in the lives of young patients struggling with vision issues.
But the AmblyoPlay story doesn’t end there. New features are constantly implemented, like monitoring, to ensure that progress is not only exciting but also measurable. Now, parents and doctors could keep an eye on how well the young patients are doing, turning the whole process into a collaborative journey toward better vision. What is more, we recently implemented Active Peripheral Stimulation (APS) technology for greater peripheral stimulation of vision.
